Hi Everyone,

As many of you know, I have changed career paths and left working for the State after 13.5 years. I am now employed with Community Mental Health Affiliates in New Britain (CMHA) and, in support of our major fundraiser (being a not-for-profit), I am walking and seeking folks as well who want to join my team, to walk or run (or even volunteer) - for the race set to happen on June 10, 2017. ALL proceeds from the Run for Recovery support CMHA's programs and services to better the lives of adults, children and families living with mental illness and addiction issues. Now more than ever, support is needed for vital mental health care treatment in our communities. Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) is a private non-profit treatment provider headquartered in New Britain, with 12 locations in 3 cities throughout northwest and central Connecticut. CMHA partners with clients and the community to promote recovery from mental illness and addiction, treating more than 6,100 adults and children each year.
